Structure and materials

 

variocell® consists of either 30 mm thick composite elements made of aluminum or steel and is equipped with special sound-absorbing inserts.
Aluminum reinforcement inserts in the elements ensure secure, long-term fastening of accessories and fittings. Thanks to waterproof materials, the system is ideal for wet, damp and dry rooms.
The construction is robust, durable and designed for trouble-free operation, meaning that variocell® can also withstand high demands in public and commercial sanitary areas.

The system is suitable for sports and leisure facilities, swimming pools, wellness areas, schools, administration buildings and all properties with variable requirements for cubicles, anteroom partitions or special constructions.

variocell consists of either 30 mm thick composite elements made of aluminum or steel. Special sound-absorbing inserts are also integrated to enhance comfort in the sanitary room.

The main difference lies in the system structure: variocell works with 30 mm composite elements (instead of 42 mm) and has flush-fitting doors. The door stop is realized via an aluminium stop profile.

variocell as a system is particularly “combinable” and can be configured almost limitlessly, e.g. as:

  • Vestibule partition (closed room-high or with floor clearance)
  • Changing cubicles (e.g. in swimming pools/spa)
  • Suspended partitions (foot-free with solid aluminum support – without floor drilling)

Yes. variocell can be designed without floor clearance and can also be realized with room-high closed top parts (project-related up to max. 2,800 mm). For special heights, solutions up to a room height of 3,000 mm are possible, depending on the project.

Yes. variocell is specifically designed for use in swimming pools and in the wellness and leisure sector – including changing cubicles. For shower enclosures, wall elements and profiles are made of seawater-resistant aluminum.

variocell has aluminum reinforcement inserts in the partition wall that allow accessories and fittings to be securely and permanently attached – an important advantage, especially for special equipment and frequently used systems.

Depending on the project, variocell can be realized with aluminium screw-on feet (various rosette/material variants) and – if required – as a suspended system with a support system. This also enables base-free constructions where no holes need to be drilled in the floor.

variocell offers a wide variety of hinges and fittings, e.g. different edge hinge variants (incl. spring/rising hinges), different lever handle and pull knob designs as well as different lock variants (e.g. 2-bolt or 1-bolt). Special fittings are possible on a project-specific basis.

variocell can be implemented in various surface and color concepts. In addition, variocell explicitly allows profiles, hinges and feet to be colored (project-related). Special colors and individual digital prints are available on request.

variocell is TÜV-tested and GS-certified. In addition, the 7-year KEMMLIT guarantee applies to the variocell Restroom Partition System.
