Construction and materials

 

The KEMMLIT powerBox is based on a robust aluminum body that is particularly resistant to corrosion and dissipates heat very quickly.
The doors and surrounding panels are made of 13 mm thick HPL, which is extremely break-proof, impact-resistant, scratch-resistant and abrasion-resistant.
Each compartment has ventilation openings in the rear wall, which reliably cools batteries during the charging process.
Security is ensured by stainless steel hinges, anti-burglary security pins and stable door opening limiters.

Electrical equipment and safety

 

Each locker is equipped with two 230 V sockets and two USB-A ports, ideal for e-bike batteries, smartphones, tablets or laptops.
A comprehensive security package protects users and operators:

  • Overload protection (10 A)

  • Residual current circuit-breaker

  • Protection from sharp objects thanks to safety flaps

  • Mains plug with IP55 protection class

The power connection is made via a power strip in the locked service cabinet.
Defective power strips can be replaced quickly and easily.
